CULTIVATING SUSTAINABILITY WITH PRECISION LEDS
Inca Orchids, based in Nootdorp in the Netherlands, specialises in cultivating 9 and 12 cm orchid pots, including cambria and miltonia varieties. Looking to reduce energy costs while transitioning to a more sustainable approach, they turned to NLight for a tailored LED solution.
PROJECT Details
Inca Orchids sought a system that could cut costs, reduce energy use, and support sensitive orchid cultivation without sacrificing light quality. By replacing SON-T fixtures with high-efficiency RV1000 LEDs, NLight delivered consistent light levels with fewer fixtures - lowering both energy demand and installation costs.

By halving fixture numbers compared to HPS, Inca Orchids achieved the same light intensity with a lighter footprint.
